Meet The Team

Ava Segal, PhD

Ava is CEO and Founder of Steadi Systems and the lead inventor of Steadiplay. After a 20-year career studying balance and mobility in military Veterans in Seattle, WA and older adults at Colorado School of Mines, Ava chose to step out of the lab to tackle the problem of falls and balance health awareness through science-driven products. She brings expertise in biomechanics, wearable sensing, rehabilitation robotics, data analytics, human performance, and scientific writing to the Steadi Systems team. Ava fully embraces a “work hard, play harder” mentality and loves a good skiing, mountain biking, and hiking adventure.
